The Vandalia City Council on Monday night approved an ordinance that will amend the Class T liquor license for the city. The amendment will change the Class T license to allow for “current liquor license holders and owners of properties that host off-site events to jointly apply for a Class T-1 or T-3 multiple times per calendar year.” This will allow restaurants and food establishments who hold liquor licenses to apply multiple times a year for a Class T license that will allow them to serve alcohol for off-site events that they may be catering throughout the year.
