(Chester, IL) — The man police say led a southern Illinois police officer on a deadly chase is pleading not guilty. Jason Stoker stood before a Randolph County judge yesterday to answer the murder charges filed against him. Prosecutors are also pushing reckless homicide and fleeing charges. They say Stoker led Chester officer James Brockmeyer on a 114-mile-an-hour chase that ended when Brockmeyer crashed his car.
