(Morton, IL) — A Central Illinois school board is set to vote on a policy regarding bathroom usage by transgender students. The “Peoria Journal-Star” reports a vote is scheduled for Tuesday’s board meeting in Morton on a new policy being proposed by the Arizona-based Alliance Defending Freedom conservative Christian organization. The policy would require restrooms and locker rooms only be used by students of the same biological sex only. The meeting has been moved to accommodate an expectedly-large crowd.
