Cooler air is here and it looks like it’s going to stay with us for a while. We saw some severe storms roll thru last night, leading to a severe thunderstorm warming for Fayette County from about 7:55 pm to 8:30 pm as a strong storm moved thru bring heavy rain, lightning and some hail. The rains continued on throughout the night and continue this morning—but it does bring with it much cooler temperatures. We are looking at a chance of showers throughout the day today with a high of 61 and the mostly cloudy skies tonight with a low of 41. For Friday we are looking at sunny skies with a high of 57.
