Illinois State Police in Effingham are advising motorists to plan
ahead when traveling in the Effingham area this weekend. On Saturday,
October 15, a concert featuring, Luke Bryan, is scheduled to take place at
Mid America Motorworks in Effingham on Illinois Route 45 (north of
interstates 57/70).
The State Police says that Concert attendees please note:
*No parking is permitted on North Route 45–all vehicles will be removed.
*Parked vehicles should not obstruct roadway traffic, driveways, entrances
or thoroughfares.
*Look for and obey all posted traffic signs, including IDOT electronic
signs.
*All ADA, limos, and RVs should use Gate 4.
*All concert traffic shall follow the instructions of the traffic control
officers on site.
Travelers not attending the concert are encouraged avoid the area and
seek an alternate route in and around the city. Expect traffic delays and
remain courteous to visitors along North Illinois Route 45 (North 3rd
Street), from Technology Drive to 1800th Street. Illinois State Police

your cooperation, as we welcome 15,000 concert-goers to the Effingham
area.
