(Chicago, IL) — The Blues are off to a winning start. Vladimir Tarasenko had two goals and an assist as they beat the Blackhawks 5-2 in the season opener in Chicago. Paul Stastny’s power-play goal early in the third period snapped a 2-all tie for St. Louis, which got 17 saves in net from goalie Jake Allen.

(St. Louis, MO) — The Blues get right back at it tonight. They host the Minnesota Wild in their home opener at Scottrade Center. Faceoff is set for 7 o’clock. The home crowd will get their first look at winger Nail Yakupov, who was acquired Friday from Edmonton. Yakupov had one shot on goal last night.
