The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department made three meth related arrested on Monday. 41-year old Jacob Lowe of Pana was arrested on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Felony, as well as charges of Aggravated Attempted Fleeing and Eluding a Peace Officer, a Class 4 Felony; Unlawful Possession With Intent to Deliver Cannabis, a Class 4 Felony; Unlawful Possession of Hypodermic Syringe or Needle, a Class A Misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, a Class B Misdemeanor. Lowe also faces eight traffic violations. Lowe made an appearance in Fayette County Court on Tuesday and probable cause was found to detain Lowe with bail set at $60,000. Lowe is scheduled to have his first appearance with conflict public defender Jeff DeLong on November 4 at 11am.
25-year old Justin D. Blackburn of Ramsey was arrested on a charge of Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, a Class X felony. Blackburn is alleged to have knowingly possessed more than 15 grams but less than 100 grams of meth with the intent to deliver. Blackburn also faces charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 1 Felony, Unlawful Use of Property, a Class 2 Felony; Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, a Class 4 Felony and Unlawful Possession of Hypodermic Syringe or Needle, a Class A Misdemeanor. Blackburn made an appearance in Fayette County Court on Tuesday and probable cause was found to detain and bond was set at $45,000. Blackburn has requested time to appoint his own counsel and is scheduled for a first appearance with counsel on November 4 at 11am.
29-year old Samuel L. Brummet of Ramsey was arrested on a charge of Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, a Class X felony. Blackburn is alleged to have knowingly possessed more than 15 grams but less than 100 grams of meth with the intent to deliver. Brummet also faces charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 1 Felony, Unlawful Use of Property, a Class 2 Felony; Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, a Class 4 Felony and Unlawful Possession of Hypodermic Syringe or Needle, a Class A Misdemeanor. Brummet made an appearance in Fayette County Court on Tuesday and probable cause was found to detain and bond was set at $60,000. Brummet was appointed public defender Ed Potter.
