Brownstown’s I-70 ramps will be closed for most of the day again today. The Illinois Department of Transportation says the I-70 ramps at the Brownstown exit at mile marker 68 will be closed again today to complete re-surfacing. The ramps will then be closed today to complete work on the ramps, closed at 7 am and re-opened at 4 pm. The work is in conjunction with the interstate resurfacing work on 1-70 between Brownstown and St. Elmo. That work is estimated to continue into November.
