(Chicago, IL) — A group of social service agencies that calls itself the Pay Now Coalition isn’t giving up its effort to force the state to pay them for services already delivered. The groups say they will appeal last month’s decision to dismiss their lawsuit by a judge who said the case belongs in a higher court. The coalition of about a hundred providers claims the state owes them about one-hundred-60-million-dollars for services including health care and assistance to the homeless.
