(Decatur, IL) — Two parents are in custody following the beating death of their four-year-old child in Decatur. Police say Amarrah Reynolds died at the hospital Wednesday after showing up with scabbing and bruising all over her body. The girl’s father, Darrell Reynolds, is being held on two-million-dollars bond on a preliminary charge of reckless homicide or manslaughter. The mother, Dalvon Taylor, is being held on 500-thousand-dollars bond on a preliminary charge of endangering the life of a child resulting in death.
