The Illinois Department of Public Health is reminding families of a few changes to school vaccination rules this year. Parents will want to make sure their child has all the required shots before schools starts says Assistant Public Health Director Don Kauerauf.
Additionally, students entering Grades Six, Seven, and 12 are required to have meningococcal vaccine, and all Kindergartners need to show proof of having received four polio immunizations.
