(Cincinnati, OH) — Scott Schebler connected for a walk-off, three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning, lifting the Reds to a 7-5 win against the Cardinals at Great American Ball Park. Seung Hwan Oh gave up the game-winning bomb, falling to 2-and-2 and blowing his second save. Brandon Moss and Tommy Pham each hit solo shots in the eighth inning to give St. Louis the lead they’d eventually blow.

(Chicago, IL) — Jason Hammel fired six shutout innings as the Cubs got by the Marlins, 3-2. Hammel moved to 11-and-5 and Aroldis Chapman worked a perfect ninth for his second save with Chicago. Dexter Fowler went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for the Cubs, who have won three straight and six of seven overall. The teams close out the three-game series tonight.
