(Buffalo, NY) — Draft day brings trades, and for Brian Elliott that means a change of scenery. The St. Louis Blues have traded the goaltender to the Calgary Flames for a 2016 second-round pick and a conditional third-rounder in 2018. Elliott minded the net as St. Louis advanced to the Western Conference Finals this year. The 31-year-old finished with a 23-8-and-6 record and was tied for second in the league with 2.07 goals against average. Jake Allen will now assume the full-time role for St. Louis.
