A 30-year old Vandalia woman has been charged with 7 felony counts and probable cause was found to detain during an appearance in Fayette County Court on Wednesday. Nicole L. Woolsey has been charged with 2 counts of forgery, 2 counts of deceptive practice, 2 counts of possessing a credit card of another person and one count of financial exploitation of an elderly person. Each forgery count and the financial exploitation count are Class 3 felonies while the remaining four counts are Class 4 felonies. Bond for Woolsey was set at $75,000 and a public defender was appointed. A preliminary hearing and Woolsey’s first appearance with counsel has been set for July 15 at 11am.
