The Vandalia Pool has seen an uptick in family attendance so far this season with the new renovations at the pool that include areas from a splash pad and zero entry for the young kids to the regular deeper depths of the pool, diving boards and slide areas for older kids and adults. The pool is going a step further this summer to really focus on drawing in all ages and people with a couple new programs. The first being a 20 and over night once a month. Pool Manager Lisa Robbins says the first one was held this past Friday with a low turnout but expects that to grow as word gets out.
The pool will also be having Teen Nights for ages 13-19 once a month with the first being held last night. Moonlight Madness will also return to the pool this year with the first being held this Friday, June 17 from 6-11:30pm.
