(Secaucus, NJ) — The Cardinals selected shortstop Delvin Perez with the 23rd overall pick in the MLB First-Year Draft. The Cards also had the 33rd and 34th overall picks as compensation picks and selected outfielder Dylan Clarkson from Elk Grove High School and relief pitcher Dakota Hudson from Mississippi State. Rounds three through 10 take place today. The draft wraps up tomorrow with rounds 11 through 40.
