(Washington, DC) — The U.S. Supreme Court is rejecting another appeal from former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. He wanted the country’s high court to reconsider the remainder of his corruption convictions. A similar appeal was turned down in March. Blagojevich was originally sentenced to 14 years in prison on corruption charges before an appellate court threw out several of the counts. He will be re-sentenced on the remaining counts June 30th.
