(Chicago, IL) — A group of Illinois students and parents is suing a school district after a transgender teenager was allowed access to the girls’ locker room. A lawsuit filed against Palatine School District 211 claims the policy violates students’ privacy rights. A transgender teen was granted entry to the locker room last December after filing a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education.
