Ramsey Lake State Park will be back open for business today. There were multiple reports on Tuesday that the power and water had been restored at the park. And, according to the “Belleville News Democrat” the Illinois Department of Natural Resources confirmed that electric bills were paid by an anonymous donor—which meant the re-opening of both the Ramsey Lake State Park and Horseshoe Lake State Park in the metro east area. Both parks had been closed for the past couple of week because of alleged overdue bills. But, with the anonymous donation, both parks are back up and running as of today.
