Fayette County dealt with another round of severe storms moving thru on Sunday afternoon—and this time the storms came with no previous watch attached, or even any heads up that severe weather might be on the way. The storms rolled thru during the 6 pm and 7 pm hour last night, hitting the southern part of Fayette County the hardest with reports of hail in St. Peter. Fayette County 911 Coordinator Kevin Jenne report there was a tree down on a house at 800 Avenue and 1500 Street in the Shobonier area and trees down and a roof off of an unoccupied structure in the St. Paul area. But, there were no reported injuries.
Meanwhile, we should be looking at mild weather over the next few days. We could see a shower today with cloudy skies and a high of just 60 for today and then a chance of showers tonight with a low of 46. We are looking at partly cloudy skies for Tuesday with a high of 65. We won’t see much of a warm up coming our way until the upcoming weekend.
