Governor Bruce Rauner says he’s open to changing the way the state funds education, but wants to make sure schools get the money they need in the meantime. The state’s funding formula has had its share of critics over the years, with the cry for change getting louder. Governor Rauner says while discussions are ongoing, the state has to continue to get money to schools.
