A 25-year old St. Louis is facing multiple charges in Fayette County following a traffic stop. Billy Stigler Jr. is facing a charge of Unlawful possession of firearm without prerequisite firearm owner’s ID, a Class 3 Felony, as well as a charge of unlawful possession of cannabis, a Class B Misdemeanor. Stigler Jr. is also charged with several traffic violations including driving in a suspended license, speeding 26-34 mph over speed limit and failure to secure new registration as well as a charge of driving under the influence of drugs. Bond for Stigler has been set at $20,000 and he has been appointed a public defender. First appearance with counsel and preliminary hearing in the matter is set for May 17 at 11am.
