A Bingham business has been deemed a total loss following a fire on Wednesday morning. The Fillmore Fire Department received a report of a fire at the Double D’s Gentlemen’s Club just before 3:30am Wednesday morning and were on scene at 3:35am. The fire was under control by 4:15am and out by 5am. Fillmore firefighters were on scene until about 9:30am and a State Fire Marshal was on hand to investigate. At that time, the structure itself was still standing. The fire department then received a call of a “rekindle” at about noon Wednesday and once again responded to the scene with the building fully involved. Firefighters were on scene again till 3pm. Ramsey Fire Department provided mutual aid. The fire does remain under investigation by the Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office.
