(Chicago, IL) — The Illinois Capital Development Board says the Thompson Center is in need of emergency repairs to its air conditioning system and that the building could be shut down this summer if the work isn’t done and the building can’t be cooled. The CDB says the building needs nearly half-a-million-dollars in emergency repairs.
