(Cahokia, IL) — A Cahokia man is accused of trying to vote twice in the recent Illinois primary and now faces perjury charges. Fifty-one-year-old Jesse Johnson is accused of signing a voter affidavit when he cast an early ballot in March 4th, then returning the next day and casting a second early ballot after signing a second affidavit. He’s free on bond and could face between two and five years in prison.
