(Springfield, IL) — State lawmakers are offering tweaks to the state’s concealed carry law after three years on the books, including some to expand the places where hidden guns can be taken. Several bills would add public transportation, highway rest stops and public parks to the list of places were guns are allowed. Other bills would allow concealed weapons to be carried inside courthouses under certain conditions.
