For the 18th time in school history, the Vandals will wrestle today at the Dual Team State Tournament. And, the Vandals are looking to bring home some hardware. The Vandals are 28-6 on the season in dual team action, coming off their sectional win on Tuesday over Auburn. The Vandals will take on Clifton Central today. Clifton Central is 24-6 in dual team action on the year. One of those dual team losses came to the Vandals, back on December 30th, when the Vandals defeated them, 43 to 27, at the New Years Challenge. The Vandals and Clifton Central wrestle in the quarterfinals this morning at 9 am at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington. The winner moves on to the semi-finals at 2 pm to take on the winner of the quarterfinal match between Dakota and Stanford Olympia. And, then win or lose, you would then wrestle at 6 pm for 3rd place or the state championship–but a win in the first match sets that all in motion. We will have the broadcast at 9 am on WKRV. And, if the Vandals win, we’ll be with them all day long.
