(Springfield, IL) — Governor Rauner says he is open to finding new ways to fund state universities and colleges dealing with the budget crisis. State Representative Ken Dunkin introduced a bill yesterday that would send around 200-million-dollars to the struggling schools. Dunkin claims Rauner would sign the measure if it passes through the General Assembly.
