It was a few very nasty hours with blowing heavy snow, making for nearly blizzard like conditions. But, by the end of the day, it was hard to tell we had seen any snow at all during the day. With temperatures above freezing, and actually warming up later in the day, most of the snow melted away by the end of the day and allowed for area roads to be cleared up, as well. And, after a day filled with cancellations yesterday, we should be clear of any such issues for today.
Meanwhile, we’ll now begin a nice warmup that will extend into the upcoming weekend. We are looking at cloudy skies for today with a high of 37 and clearing skies tonight with a low of 24. We’ll see a high of 40 on Friday, up to 54 on Saturday and then mostly sunny and 62 on Sunday. The warmer weather will extend into the start of next week.
