V. Christine Daniels, 92, of Seminary Twp. Fayette County, passed away at 8:30pm, Friday, February 19, 2016 at her home in rural Vandalia.
Graveside Service and interment will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Daniels Cemetery, Seminary Twp. rural Vandalia with Rev. Jerry Bagwell officiating. Christine was born February 1, 1924 in Hewitt, OK, the daughter of Herbert Lee and Virgie (Smith) Wogmon. She married John C. Daniels Sr., June 6, 1942 in St. Charles, MO. Prior to starting their family, Christine taught school at Oak Grove Country School. She was a member of the Pittsburg Free Methodist Church and Bond Co. Home Extension. Christine was an artist; she loved painting, crafting, gardening, and babysitting for her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons John Daniels Jr. and wife Brenda of Vandalia, Roger Lee Daniels and wife Jeana of Vandalia, and Bradley Wogmon Daniels and wife Rosemary of Burns, KS; daughter Linda Jean Daniels of Vandalia; grandchildren Tammy Duty, Kelly Daniels Lehn, Beth Hall, Mitch Daniels, Jasmine Daniels, Jessica Bollman, and Josey Daniels; eight great grandchildren; and brother Charles Lee Wogmon of Portland, OR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Charlene Patrick.
