(Springfield, IL) — Governor Rauner is set to give his state budget address today despite Illinois operating without a spending plan. The governor’s office says Rauner will ask lawmakers to send him a bill spending more money on schools. Legislators still aren’t close to reaching a deal on a budget over seven months into the current fiscal year. We plan to have the broadcast of the budget address at noon today on 104.7 FM/AM 1500 WPMB.
