Although the accumulation amounts are not looking that impressive at this time, the National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory beginning at midnight tonight and running until 6 pm on Sunday. For today we’ll see increasing clouds and cold with a high of just 18 for tonight. Snow is likely overnight tonight and into Sunday morning with new snow accumulation of less than one inch possible for tonight and early Sunday morning. For Sunday, we’ll see snow with a high of 27. New snow accumulation on Sunday of 1 to 2 inches is possible for the area—which would add up to a possible 2 to 3 inches for the area from overnight Sunday night and then during the day on Sunday. There is a slight chance of some freezing drizzle before midnight on Sunday night with a low of 26. And, then for President’s Day on Monday we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with a high of 38.
