(Springfield, IL) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be assisting with damage assessments in nearly two dozen counties affected by recent historic flooding. Governor Rauner says personnel from FEMA and other local and state agencies will begin assessing damage to homes and businesses early next month. Rauner says the information obtained during this process could be used to support a request for federal assistance.
