Two individuals made their first appearances in Fayette County Court on Monday, after being arrested over the weekend on methamphetamine charges. 32 year old Kevin K. Cook of Kinmundy and 26 year old Kala R. McMain were allegedly arrested in Griffith Cemetery by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, with officers allegedly finding better than 390 grams of methamphetamine. The two individuals appeared in Fayette County Court on Monday and were charged with Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine Making Materials. Cook’s bond was set at 100 thousand dollars while McMain’s was set at 75 thousand dollars. Both are due back in court on February 2nd.
