William Kenneth Buchholz, 88, of West Branch, Michigan, died at 3:47 a.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at The Brook Assisted Living Center in West Branch, Michigan.
There will be no local services. Burial will be on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Zion Cemetery, rural Brownstown. A memorial service will be held in Michigan at a later date. Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home, Brownstown is assisting the family with arrangements.

William was born on Friday, February 25, 1927 in Brownstown, IL to Clarence and Amy (Bruegger) Buchholz. He married Margie M. Smith on November 12, 1947 and she preceded him in death on Friday, August 16, 2013. He served in the US Army during WWII and prior to retirement had been a petroleum engineer with Baker-Packer Corporation.
He is survived by one daughter, Roseann Beach and husband James of Las Vegas, Nevada, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother and three sisters.
