A vehicle that was stolen from a Vandalia dealership on Saturday night has now been recovered. Vandalia Police Chief Jeff Ray says the vehicle, which was identified on Saturday night as a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, was recovered this morning around 7 am in the 300 block of Jefferson Street in Vandalia. Chief Ray says he is not aware of any damage at this time and the vehicle was towed for process of fingerprints and DNA. Chief Ray says there are still no suspects at this time. Vandalia Police reports say that at 11:37 pm on Saturday night, officers responded to a report of three individuals running out of the Arthur Young Chevrolet dealership. Police reports say officers found a broken window and the door unlocked. Officers searched the building with negative results and it was discovered at that time a vehicle was stolen. But, again, the vehicle was recovered this morning.
