Services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with Revs. Edmund Hill, Bill Stephens & Gregg Shannon, officiating. Service time 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Rural Ramsey, IL.Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, in Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, November 27, 2015, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL and 1 hr. prior the service on Saturday, at the church. He was born November 30, 1931, in Montgomery County, IL, the son of John Edward and Wave Belle (Cade) Hicks. He married Hazel May Boles on August 19, 1950, in Vandalia, IL. He was a Farmer and a former Deacon at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Rural Ramsey, IL.
He is survived by: Wife – Hazel, Bingham, IL; Sons – Ronnie Hicks & Karen, Bingham, IL, Mike Hicks & Cindy and Johnny Hicks & Sandy, all of Ramsey, IL; Daughters – Joyce Eddy & Bob, Ramsey, IL and Brenda Eddy & Kenny, Shelbyville, IL; Brother – Clyde Hicks & Dorothy, Bethany, IL; Sister – Jewel Babb & Bobby, Pana, IL; 16 Grandchildren and 19+2 on the way, Great Grandchildren.
