Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti was in Vandalia on Tuesday afternoon, taking a tour of the Okaw Area Vocational Center and also sitting down a roundtable discussion and education challenges and vocational programs. After the tour, Vandalia Superintendent of Schools Rich Well explained the Okaw program and how it came about to the Lt. Governor. Well says Vandalia is certainly fortunate to host such a program.
And, the Lt. Governor says this is the type of set up she and Governor Bruce Rauner would like to see throughout the state.
We will have more on the Lt. Governor’s visit coming up tomorrow during NewsCenter.
