Ruby M. Clough, age 91, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 8:37 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. Drew Holloway will be officiating. There will be a one hour viewing prior to the service. Burial will be at Leith Cemetery in Mason, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. Ruby was born on March 7, 1924 in Union Township, the daughter of Joseph S. and Emma M. (Stroup) Warner. She married Woodrow Wilson Clough on October 16, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Effingham, Illinois. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, crocheting, popping popcorn, and working at church rummage sales.
She is survived by her son, Woody Clough (wife Pat) of Mason, Illinois; 3 daughters, Betty Jean Bushue (husband Joe) of Mason, Illinois, Sharon Macklin (husband Jim) of Mason, Illinois and Pam Slone (husband Donald) of Mason, Illinois; brother, Jack Warner (wife Vivian) of Mason, Illinois; sister, Louise Bushue (husband Lee) of Mason, Illinois; 7 grandsons, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emma Warner; husband, Woodrow Wilson Clough; brother, Harold Warner; 2 sisters, Bessie Bishop and Thelma Overbeck; 2 brothers-in-law, Don Bishop and Sylvester Overbeck; sister-in-law, Artie Warner.
