(Undated) — There’s room for improvement when it comes to premature births in Illinois. The March of Dimes announced yesterday the state earned a “C” grade on the eighth annual report. The National Center for Health Statistics shows Illinois‘ preterm birth rate at ten-point-one-percent. Chicago, Rockford and Springfield each received a “D” grade while Peoria earned an “F.”
