(Undated) — A concussion lawsuit against the Illinois High School Association is no more. The suit filed on behalf of a former South Elgin football player called for the organization to establish policies for dealing with concussions. Those included having an expert present at all games. A Cook County judge dismissed the lawsuit, saying imposing broader liability could harm the sport or cause it to be abandoned.
