A trap shoot benefit will be held this Saturday at Gatch Lake for Madison Lash of St. Elmo. The one year old Lash was diagnosed with Monosomy 7 earlier this year and underwent a bone marrow transplant in July and has been living in St. Louis for the last several months and has recently transitioned from the hospital to an apartment before eventually being able to come home once renovations are made to the family home making it a clean, sterile environment for her to live. Lash’s grandmother Shelly Keppler says the benefit this weekend will include not just trap shooting but also food and a silent auction as well.
Although there is a chance of rain in the forecast for Saturday, Keppler says they will still go rain or shine as the food and silent auctions will still be available.
For more information on the event, call Bruce Boaz at 618-780-2133 or Brenda Kistler at 618-699-1215 and to donate items for the silent auction, contact Brenda Kistler. Monetary donations may also be made to the Madison Lash Benefit Fund care of the First National Bank.
