After winning three games in a row, the Lady Vandals have dropped their last two including last night’s loss at home to Carlyle 16-25, 22-25. After a first set loss and falling behind early in the second set, the Lady Vandals fought back to within a couple points of the Indians. Unforced errors ended the late rally as Carlyle picked up the win. After the loss, Vandalia Coach Amanda Walton said the team has not been able to put everything together in a match on a regular basis.
The Lady Vandals are now 7-15 on the season. They will celebrate Senior Night next Tuesday when they face Gillespie in their last home match of the regular season.
