Rena A. Carroll, age 67, of Salem, died October 5th, 2015 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She worked at World Color Press, was a member of the Vandalia Presbyterian Church and was formerly a member of the Junior Women’s Club.
Graveside funeral services for Rena Carroll will be held on Thursday, October 8th, at 11 am at the East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Visitation will be from five to seven Wednesday night at the Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem. Memorials may be made to the Greater Salem Area Foundation.
Rena Carroll is survived by daughter: Monica Burge of Salem; sons: Chris Carroll of Salem and Darren Carroll and wife Alyssa of Salem; sister: Connie Donaldson and husband Jerry of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren: Alex Carroll and wife Chrissie and Nick Carroll; great grandchildren: Alijah, Remington and Brady.
Rena Carroll was born on September 28th, 1948 to Melvin Long and Ruth (Rasler) Long. Both preceded her in death in addition to her brother: Jack Long and sister-in-law: Marianne Long.
