James Donald Logue, age 64, of St. Elmo passed away at 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Marion Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Springhill Cemetery in St. Elmo, Illinois. Pee Wee Denton will be officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at C & A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, Illinois. James was born on November 8, 1950 in Shelbyville, Illinois, the son of Donald and Beulah (Wood) Logue. James married Debra Seeley on July 13, 1970 in Cowden, Illinois. James graduated from St. Elmo High School. He was baptized at Springhill Church where he was also a member. He was an avid trap shooter and gun enthusiast, he loved hunting and shooting at his toolshed.
He is survived by his former wife, Debra Seeley of Cowden, Illinois; son, Corey J. Logue (wife Patty) of Casey, Illinois; daughter, Kiley Logue (fiancé Ray Halbrook) of Vandalia, Illinois; sister, Peggy Moll (husband Ron) of Springfield, Illinois; two brothers-in-law, Ron Sinclair of St. Elmo, Illinois and Tim Speakman of Mattoon, Illinois; 5 grandchildren, Casey Lee, Amber Lee, Westen Giles,
Pacen Logue and Wenoa Giles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Beulah Logue; two sisters, Carol Ann Sinclair
and Dale Speakman and grandson, Wyatt Giles
