(Champaign, IL) — Governor Quinn is edging back into the public spotlight after losing his reelection bid last year, but he’s dismissing the notion that he’ll run for public office again. Quinn spoke at the opening of the U of I’s new center for educating wounded veterans and said he expects to volunteer to work on consumer issues. Quinn says he still believes an income tax increase is needed to balance the budget and he said Governor Rauner should step forward to end the stalemate.
