(Washington, IL) – Illinois Congressman Peter Roskam says House Republicans need to be more “rhetorically aggressive” against the Obama administration. Roskam told the Chicago “Sun-Times” that he’ll decide soon whether to seek a post in the GOP leadership in the wake of John Boehner’s resignation as Speaker. Roskam has organized a meeting of his colleagues to slow the move toward electing Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy to succeed Boehner without first making a plan to fight harder against the administration.
