The Fayette County YMCA will be holding their second Midwest Youth Tennis program in November and December after a good showing in their first offering of the program this past summer. Y Program Director Amber Daulbaugh says they are excited to have the program again and are hoping to get many more kids involved in learning the game of tennis.
And, Daulbaugh says registration is open now for the program with an early bird registration date deadline coming up in just a few weeks.
Registration can be completed by going to www.MidwestTeamTennis.com. All players will receive a team t-shirt, and age appropriate racquet, a 1 year USTA junior membership and a subscription to Bounce magazine or Tennis Tuesday magazine along with their six instructional sessions at the Y. Member cost for the program is $35 if registered by October 18 or $55 if register by November 9. Non-member cost is $70 if registered by October 18 and $90 if registered by November 9. And all early bird registrants will receive their equipment on the first instructional day while those not going through early bird registration will receive equipment sometime during the program.
