(Undated) — Some state-run facilities are set for closure this week despite Governor Rauner suspending layoffs during the budget crisis. The Department of Natural Resources announced that the Illinois State Museum system and the World Shooting and Recreational Complex near Sparta will shut down Wednesday even as a court decides if a group of over 100 state workers will lose their jobs. Employees will still report to work but the buildings will be closed to the public.
