(Springfield, IL) — Illinois lawmakers may discuss a nearly four-billion-dollar spending plan today that would pay for a number of services as the state deals with a budget crisis. A House committee is expected to consider the measure and possibly put it to a vote. The bill would provide funding for programs including the state Lottery.
